Shock beat Sun clinch second spot.

I get real excited when the shock play the sun. Normally it will be a very exciting game , with both teams bringing out the best in the other but todays game was a bit different Detroit played ok, tweety was great so were Katie Smith and CF. But the Sun had nothing riding on this game and it showed whalen and Douglas didnt play, sales and TMF played limited minutes. But all I care about is that the Shock won and I got to watch it live. All because of a great program called TVU player, this has got to be my favourite player ever. Clear , fast , easy just plain great. Pity though most of the playoff games are on ESPN2 and I dont have any way to watch it.

Was finally able to watch a LIVE WNBA game yesterday. For the first time this season. It was the comets agaisnt the storm and the comets won it and booked a place in the playoffs and the third seed in the west. I actually was on the message board as well as watching the game live , it was fun.
Tonight or i should say tomorrow morning i will be able to watch the Shock play agaisnt the sun. Hope the shock win..

New notebook

Finally got my new notebook today, guess what its windows vista capable which means i can upgrade WV if i wanted to. anyways the notebook is pretty neat.. Just having a bit of trouble setting up the wireless connection coz we are currently using cables. I'll put up some pics of my notebook later..

DT broke another KS record.

The shock won today. Puts them just that much closer to home court advantage for the playoffs.
DT broke the single game points record that my KS held at 46. DT broke it by one in a triple overtime game against the comets. She scored 47. Man this is the second record of Katie's she has broken this season, she broke the single season scoring record a couple of games ago.

On the other news, I am so happy today, you see I asked KS a question on the WNBA website and it got answered.




hehe .. anyways really bored at home today, had to go for another medical check up, this one was to exit the radiation workers thingy.Havent even had time to check out Rebkel Junkie boards yet today...

Today is my first day as a gainfully unemployed person, jeez what am I going to do for the next 30 days. Good thing the playoffs as well as the US open are both coming around .. Keep me occupied a bit. I should be getting my new notebook in a couple of days, so I'm kind of excited about that, hope I can play Doom on it.. Later.

LAST DAY AT INTEL

Ahh just got home after my last day in Intel. Said goodbye to everyone I knew there, passed out my blog add and my email add to everyone as well. MS took me out for lunch and then she sent me home again. I'm going to miss everyone alot. We took this picture about a week ago , only 2 members of my group were not there, Bok and HH , they were too busy. All my colleagues signed my smock(the white oversoat thing we are wearing) i'll post a pic of it next time. I actually enjoyed working there so much, the nicest bunch of people there ever was. The best job I ever had (not saying much as I have only had 4 jobs prior to this one).

Anyways if any of you are reading this , love you all a lot, call me anytime , if you need anything.

Ghost Festival

This guy actually burnt the incense sticks right by my car... I stared at him and he ran away.
Anyways yesterday was the 15th day of the 7th month in the lunar calendar and the last day to pray.. So there were many people burning stuff outside their homes..
the moon was very round and beautiful yesterday,, but i wasnt able to get a good shot... next time i'll do better.

Shock mount comeback but loose by 2

By freaking 2 pts and all because of LJ.... but what an amazing comeback.. from 25 points down... I'm looking forward to the playoffs now. Hope this is the year we win it again...

Nothing to blog about today....

Nothing much to write about today. Except Tiger winning again yesterday, Kim clijsters loosing to Sharapova( hat has the world come to) and well Landis getting sacked by Phonak. No basketball games today, there's one tomorrow , hope the shock win that one too.. No pics today, am having a very bad headache, from sitting here and doing the presentation all day I think... Later dudes.. Ohhh made the bankers cheque today for my notebook.. man that was a hassle, wish i could have used my credit card but my limit was not enough...
