Shock LOSE!!!!!

Ahh a bad game. The Shock didnt have the LOOK , the look they normally have when they come out to play. Swin had NO POINTS and Ruth had 2 . What was that about. Man I hope
the Shock play better on saturday. KS had 21 and Ford had 25 but powell and lawson also scored over 20.. That sucks, hope they play better next game cause if not I might start killing people. AHHHHHHHHHHH

Rainy Day

Rain rain go away come again another day, little Justine wants to play.

The rain has caused a massive delay in NY , almost all the games were postponed to today,
only a few games started , but none finished.
All will be played weather permitting.
tomorrow morning is THE DAY of the WNBA Finals first game in Detroit, Shock has to come out strong, and keep it up.

Its been raining non stop in Penang, cant even take Waldo out for a walk, he is sleeping again, he's been sleeping a lot because its cold i think.

I'm really bored another 25 days till I leave Malaysia..

US Open

Justine played great, a few unforsed errors here and there but all in all a good game. Served up 111 mps serve, cool huh?
Andre won, lindsay won too, as did Sania Mirza, but she played a real bad game, watched some of it, she's still hitting that forehand errors, one goes in 2 goes out.. Some control would be nice Sania.
Tonight Amelie and Nadal play, so does Safin, I love Safin hope he doesnt lose (like he seems to be doind lately)


I'm bored at home, went marketing with my mom today, it was funny it seemed to me like my mom just went and chose the biggest fish she could find, hehe must mean my family eats a lot. The dog slept the whole day, and there was nothing to watch on tv, how is that possible someone tell me, I pay 125 every month for satelite tv and i still have nothing to watch that just sucks.

Andre Agassi

Watching Aggasi play in the first round, hopefully this wont be the last match he plays, right now its one set all both sets have gone to the tie breaker.

Steffi has always been my favourite player. Love the two of them together.

Going to miss AA's beautiful backhand, the short back swing, man he is going to be missed by everyone. Remember the US open i think about 10 years ago, it rained and the courts were flooded , and there was this guy with long hair in the water pretending to swim. lol never going to forget that.

In the LPGA Ochoa won the wendy's and takes over at the top, Karrie finished tied for 6th. Sad but the season is far from over.

Shock lost a really bad game. Sun won KD played not much and not very well mind you but she played. KS on the other hand made one shot and missed 2 free throws, this from a 81% career FT . Anyways hopefully everyone will come to play tmrw in the 3rd game.Ohh tweety was on fire today missed i think only 3 shots, not very sure but hit soo many had 27 pts, led al scorers.
Ford also had an awful game.

Sam played Lindsay , and wow Sam has really been impressing me since the Australian Open. Lindsay 5 months away and she can still play like this..

Svet tried everything short of jumping across the net
and beating the pulp out of Justine ( which i think wouldnt have been hard for Svet)
but every ball just kept coming back and with more spin , power than the one Svet hit,
Justine is really playing well, if she can keep this up look out NY , the little back hand might just win it again.

Sis complaining again

Ok gonna switch to the Lpga for a while, Karrie Webbis currently sitting pretty at the top of the standing points and money(not the world ranking mind you) , but just a point or 2 behind her is Lorena Ochoa.
Ok yesterday(today depending on where you are) both of them have shot identical scores for 2 rounds and both are -9 after 2 rounds trailing the leaders by 2. Ohh this 2 have been very consistent this year, Annika is always great, but this year there has been company up there.

SAC beat LA but it came down to the last seconds, wow real nail biter.

Both Tully B and Katie Smith answered the questions I asked, Katie cleared up what I wanted to know. As for Tully well hope the Opals do well in the WC. We are practically neighbours anyways, might as well wish them well. But Katie is playing for USA so thats who I will cheer for during the WC.






only Dawn didnt answer my question, but whatever.
Anyways had a long day, really long day, so going to go to sleep early today.
The LA- Seattle game is on at 10am tmrw. Hope Seattle win.

Funeral tales

Well we just got back from the funeral. I've been to other Indian funerals before but this one was kind of weird.
First of they had a lot of rituals everyone that's related applying oil to the deceased forehead, placing rice onto a white cloth and also using water to wet the area surrounding the body. All of that I have seen before but they did something really weird this time. You see my uncle was a bachelor and so at one point in the ceremonies , the guy officiating asks all the unmarried people and children to leave the area, but being the busy body that I am I stuck around just for the heck of it.
What I witnessed amazed me, they actually got him married to a shoot of a banana plant. Seriously that's what it looked like.
Anyways the funeral is over now, and I can get back to obsessing over basketball. Just as soon as I get over the exhaustion of being awake all day .

My uncle passed away

My uncle passed away today at around 5 in the morning. He was my dad's younger brother, he had been kind of odd ever since he was involved in an accident a whilst back. Well I guess, RIP dude, see you when I get there.

I found a cd i had made earlier this year when i was backing up my hard drive .. I found so many pics of USA basketball. I'm gonna put up the ones i like best.. even CP3 is there.

Sue Bird is going to wear a face mask again, she broke her nose again this I think is the 3rd time she has broken her nose since turning pro. Katie Douglas also injured herself, Ok seriously I'm a Shock fan , i dont like seeing any good player getting injured but hey it should make it easier for the Shock if KD isnt playing lol.

Withdrawal

No games for the next day. Have to wait until thursday for the Shock to play.
My aunt finally got a job, went for the interview and got the job straight. She starts on the 1st, she going to move to penang too.

This was the scoreline this morning.
Man was it good.. The Shock are in the conference finals for the first time since winning the title. Which is great hopefully Katie Smith will get her ring this year.

Looks like this is going to be the last time we get to watch the great Dawn Staley play.
The Monarchs are playing great and the Comets are sucking real bad right now... So Bye Bye Staley was fun watching you all these years...

Man my wish came true. They actually won, Katie Smith had 17 point and seven boards, Tweety Nolan scored 18 to lead all scorers.. Hope they can sweep the Fever.

WNBA Playoffs

Yeah the playoffs are finally here. The monarchs take on the Comets, before that the Shock take on the Fever . I wont be able to watch either game but i will listen and hope that teams win.

boring day

Well the only thing I did today was take my dog for a walk on anextremely hot day, I spent the rest of the day sitting on my new couch and surfing the net tryin to figure out how to make own blog template, lets just say that was an exercise in futility. Man i wonder if I'll ever get a hang of writing html. I gave up again after about an hour of nothing working.. And to think all i want to do is change the background to a picture of Katie Smith.
